Courses should only be mapped to other courses with the same number of credit hours and the Registrar determines they are true equivalents. Courses would need to be mapped for a variety of reasons. One reason would include renaming a course. ANA101 could be renamed ANA200 but they are equivalent in every way. These courses could then be mapped so that a student who took ANA101, withdrew from school and plans to return, wouldn’t be scheduled for ANA200.
- Go to the Academics Tab>click on Courses.
3. Scroll down to the “Course Mappings” section.
4. Click the Add Mapping tab.
- Minimum Grade: select the lowest grade needed to pass
- Max Age: an optional field; enter the number of years you would accept the mapped course
- Start From: select from the drop-down list when you would accept the mapped class
- Start To: only enter select a term from this drop-down list if the course mapping is expired and you are no longer accept the mapping
6. Click the blue Save Mapping.
7. You will now need to map the equivalent course also. Repeat Steps 1-6 for the equivalent course.
