How to Assign Students to Lab Classes

  1. Go to the Academics Tab > Sections. Search for the Section you need to add lab sessions to.


2.   Click on the blue Section number.




3.   Scroll down to Section Dates/Times and click on Edit Clinical/Lab Dates.

4.   Click Add Row to select the following: 
          a.  Days and Times the lab will meet 
          b.  Type of Class: Select Lab 
          c.  Room Number 
          d.  Number of Sessions 
          e.  Start Week: The week number that the course begins. Only enter a number in this field if                 it doesn’t begin in the first week of the term. 
          f.  # Weeks: Only enter a number in this field if it doesn’t run for the entire term. If it doesn’t run for the entire term, enter the number of weeks it will be in session. 


5.   Click Save Dates/Times 
6.   Next, click on the blue number under the “Assigned” section to assign students to the lab session. 





7.   Drag and drop the students into the desired Lab section and click Save Assignments. The students have now been assigned to the lab sessions and it will appear on their class schedules. 

 

Lab Students MUST be assigned to a Lab group before the meeting days and times will appear on their class schedules.
