How to View your Department’s Activity Log

VIAS stores the activity for each employee by department. This can be a useful tool to coach employees and monitor the workload distribution.

This list is driven by the Activities Log on the Student Page and includes the following information for each employee in the department: 

  1. Calls Inbound 
  2. Calls Outbound 
  3. Notes: entered on the Student Page 
  4. Email Inbound 
  5. Email Outbound 
  6. Meeting Initial 
  7. Meetings Follow-Up 
  8. SMS Inbound: number of text messages received 
  9. SMS Outbound: number of text messages sent 
  10. Other: other activities not listed 
  11. Total: this includes all of the activities for the day that the employee completed

Note: The numbers in gray represent a 30-day average. The numbers in blue represent activity for the given Date value.

To Access the Student Services Activity Log 

  1. Go to the Students Tab>click on Activity Log
  2. Select the School and the Date you’d like to view 
  3. Click Search 


    You can click on the blue numbers to see notes entered in VIAS for phone calls, meetings, and text message conversations. You can also export this to Excel.
