How to Acquire a Web Lead

A Web Lead is a prospective student that has filled out the call to action on your institution’s website. It may also be a new lead from an affiliate marketing vendor.

You will receive a green notification on your VIAS screen when there is a new web lead available to be acquired. When an Admissions Representative acquires a lead, they are then assigned to that representative’s lead database in VIAS.

  1. Click on the World Icon at the top of VIAS on the top right side of your screen to acquire the new lead. (When a new lead comes in, there will be a green number on top of this icon indicating how many new leads are there) 




2.  Click on the lead blue linked name that needs to be acquired.   That lead will now belong to you and will appear in your Lead Database
