Entering a Cancel Program Action for a Student
A Cancel Program Action indicates that a student was scheduled to begin courses or did begin courses but decided to stop before the drop/add period.
Canceled students are not charged tuition for the term. They are removed from the Active student population.
A student service member would need to double-check that the student’s attendance would be removed and any grades before giving the student a canceled program action. The Student’s LDA within the program activity tab should be blank.
In the example below, the Last Date of Attendance (LDA) is listed showing the date the student was marked present in one or more of the student’s section enrollments.
The Student Service Team will also need to ensure that all current and future section enrollments have been canceled before entering the canceled program action.
