How to Add a Class Section
Before the registrar can enroll students into courses, one must create course sections for each term.
1. Go to the Academics Tab > Sections
4. Enter the following information about the Class Section:
a. The Term the Section will run.
b. The Enter the Start Date, which is always the first day of the term.
c. Enter the # of actual class sessions (number of times attendance will be marked) and the following number of students allowed in the class
d. Be sure to select if it’s a clock hour class, online class or independent study.
e. Mark “Online Class” if the class will be needed on the schools LMS.
5. Click Save.
The Section has now been created. You need to go to the Academics Tab > Sections to complete the setup for the section.
