How to create or add course sections.

Students are enrolled in class sections. Class sections include the course code, section number, classroom location, assigned faculty, and time of class. Students must be enrolled in a class section in order for the class to show on their class schedule, in Gradebook, and course roster.

1. Click on Sections

All sections of courses for the school can be managed from the Academics Tab > Sections.

Click on Sections

2. This is the section search page.

This search page allows you to view all of the Sections scheduled for a particular term. You can search or sort by the following ways: course code, day of week, class time, room number, # of students enrolled in the section, or by instructor. You can also filter the Section Date by using the fields at the top of the Section page. Your search can show you the following: history of class sections for a particular course, list of class sections for a given term, list of class sections taught by a particular teacher, list of class sections for a program term. You can also export this list to Excel to further organize the information.
