Transfer credit within the institution can be added through the gradebook. Bypass credit is credit that is awarded for testing out of a class and also added through the gradebook.
To enter transfer or bypass credit for a student:
- Go to the Student Page and scroll down to the Enrollments section.
- Click on the blue Gradebook
3. Choose your school at the top of the gradebooks.
This is a very important step if your school has multiple campuses. Before adding each transfer credit into the gradebook, check that the student's correct school campus is selected. Otherwise the transfer credit will not be applied correctly.
4. Select Add Grade Transfer.
5. Select the type: transfer or bypass.
6. Select the course the student will receive transfer or bypass credit.
7. Select the effective term you wish this credit to be applied to. Best practice suggests that all transfer credit be entered in the student's first term.
8. Select the program the transfer credit will be applied to for the student.
8. Add Notes - Notes added here will be added to the bottom transcript.
9. Click Save.
Transfer and Bypass credits will show on the enrollment grid, gradebook, program plan, and transcript.
