Within the attendance box of the section page, you can cancel a class date. You can adjust a student’s attendance if there was an error by an instructor. You can delete unwanted class dates. You can add class dates to the schedule.
- Go to the far right in the box that states Attendance. Click on “Manage Class Dates.”
How to Cancel Class
- Click Edit next the Class Session you’d like to cancel or remove and add a note. Often, this is used for inclement weather when class meetings are canceled.
- Once you’ve entered the note, click Save and a record of the change will be stored in the Section Detail page.
How to Remove a Class Date
- Click a check in the box next to class dates you would like to delete. Then, click Delete Checked Records to remove the selected class dates.
How to Add a Class Date
- In the blue box, labeled “Add Class Date” Use the drop down menu to select the day of the week that has been pre-entered by your registrar under Date/ Time.
- Type in the Date for example: 02/02/2023
- Type in the start and end time. Use military time. The time must be within the perimeters set by the registrar.
When using manage class dates and adding classes manually, breaks are not entered into the the time schedule. If a class is set for 8:00 -4:00 with a 30 minute break, adding a class manually will not include this break time. To have the correct times remove the break from the total class time.
Click Edit at the top of the Manage Class screen to return back to the section page.
