How to Modify the Curriculum

A complete history of Curriculum Modification will be stored below the Program Curriculum section.

Sometimes, it’s necessary to add or remove a course from the Required Curriculum list on the Program Plan Page. Reasons may include:

  •  A Student previously passed an older course version

  • A Student requested to take the class online

Missing Curriculum Report

You can also quickly query the Active Population to confirm all courses are scheduled in student plans by going to the Students Tab > Program Plans > Missing Curriculum.

 
This will provide you with a list of Active students that are currently missing a course required for graduation.
 

Adding a Class 

1. To Modify the Curriculum, go to the Student Page and click on Manage Program Activity.  This will take you to the Program Plan Page. 

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the Program Curriculum section and click on Modify Curriculum. 

3. To Add a course, you will need to select the Course from the drop-down menu, add a note as to why you’re adding it, select the “Add to Curriculum” option, and click Save. 

4. The added course will now appear in the Program Curriculum list and can be dragged to the term you’d like to add it to. 
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Program Plan and click Save Changes. 

 

Exempting a Class 

  1. To Modify the Curriculum, go to the Student Page and click on Manage Program Activity.  This will take you to the Program Plan Page. 

2.   Scroll down to the bottom of the Program Curriculum section and click on Modify Curriculum. 

3.  To exempt a course, you will need to select the Course from the drop-down menu, add a note as to why you’re exempting it, select the “Exempt From Curriculum” option, and click Save.
