Many different types of course resources such as videos, links, documents, etc. can be added to each class. These Course Resources will appear in each student’s portal who is enrolled in the course.
- To add Course Resources, go to the Academics Tab>Grading System>click on Gradebook
3. Click on the blue Resources link next to the course.
Course Resources will appear on the Student Portal under the Classes Tab.
Uploading a Document
- You can upload a document from your computer. Click on to the document.
- Click on the open button.
- A green bar will appear below the blue resources boxes. This means your document is being downloaded. This does take some time, so give appropriate wait time to download.
- You can add details about the resource.
- Give the document a title.
- Type a description of the document or identify the purpose of the document.
- Publish Date is the date the document will be available on the student portal.
- Calendar Date is the date it will appear on the calendar. (see example in the Calendar section of the manual.)
5. Click Save.
How to Create Groups to Organize Classroom Resources
Creating document groups is a way to organize your resources by units, chapters, standards, skills,...etc.
1. Click on Create a Document Group to organize the curricula within the sections. Instructors can create units, weeks, themes, or use their own creativity.
1. Type in the group name.
2. Click Save.
3. Drag highlighted list class resources into the newly created group.
The Assignment Tab can be accessed from this page by clicking Assignment Tab. The assignment tab can be used to edit, delete, or add assignments to the gradebook for the section.
The Calendar Tab can be accessed by clicking the calendar tab.
