Icon Guide

Three helpful icons are located at the top right of your VIAS screen.

   

   World Icon: Displays all new leads for the current day are displayed. It also shows leads by day for the past week. A red number next to it will indicate when a new web lead is ready to be acquired by an Admissions Representative.

  Ticket Icon: Directs you to the VIAS Client-Support System, where you can access the VIAS knowledge base for specific articles and videos of specific tasks. Also, choose the Feedback and Ideas tab to create a ticket for the VIAS product team.  We are always looking for ways to innovate our product to meet our client's needs. Lastly, Request Support for VIAS client service representative to answer questions, help with job duties, or let us know of a VIAS bug.  

  Magnifying Glass: Allows you to search for leads, starts, and students. Selecting the icon will populate the users ten most recently searched students or leads. 

Blue arrow beside your account name: Gives users access to their account.  Users can reset his/her password, add demographic information, emergency contacts, work references and resumes.  Users will need to create a workflow signature early within their VIAS journey. 

 

Tabs: 

Home:  This tab will always bring you back to the VIAS dashboard. VIAS's communication templates live here. 

Admin:  Must have administrator role to have access to this tab. The Admin tab is where administrators have access to employee and student accounts.  Superusers can create the institution's directory, workflows, checklists, and organize classroom locations.  This is also the tab were users can enter school holidays and cancelations.  

Auditors: Institutions can choose student accounts that an auditor will need to review.  The superuser would create an account for the auditor to have access to this tab only to complete reviews.
